1. Introduction & General Terms

Welcome to the Youth Sports Federation Of India ("YFI", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and participation in our sports events and youth development programs.

By accessing our platform or registering for an event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and fair environment for all young athletes across India.

Note for Minors: If you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use our services and participate in events. A guardian must co-sign all registration forms.

2. Definitions

Player

Any individual registered to participate in sports events, training camps, or competitions organized by the Federation.

Guardian

A parent or legal custodian authorized to make decisions on behalf of a Player under 18 years of age.

Event

Any tournament, match, workshop, or gathering facilitated physically or virtually by the Youth Sports Federation Of India.

Personal Data

Information that can be used to identify an individual, including but not limited to name, Aadhaar number, date of birth, and biometric data for age verification.

3. Data Collection & Protection

We take the privacy of our young athletes seriously. We collect minimal data necessary for event registration, age verification, and safety compliance.

3.1 Information We Collect

  • Identity Information: Name, Date of Birth, Gender.
  • Contact Details: Phone numbers, Email addresses, Residential address.
  • Verification Documents: Scans of government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Birth Certificate).
  • Health Data: Basic medical history relevant to sports participation (e.g., allergies, conditions).

3.2 How We Use Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

4. Event Participation Rules

Participation in Youth Sports Federation Of India events is a privilege subject to strict adherence to our Code of Conduct.

Fair Play: Any player found using performance-enhancing drugs or falsifying age documents will face an immediate ban ranging from 2 years to lifetime disqualification.

Refund Policy: Registration fees are generally non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by the Federation. Medical withdrawals must be supported by a valid doctor's certificate at least 7 days prior to the event start date.

5. Media & Publicity Rights

By participating in our events, you grant Youth Sports Federation Of India the irrevocable right to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and appearance as may be embodied in any pictures, photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made on behalf of the Federation.

These images serve promotional purposes to highlight the achievements of Indian youth sports and attract sponsorship for future development programs.
